This 8 page PDF pattern contains templates and instructions to make a 8" block (motif size 7"). The pattern includes full embroidery stitch guide, extensive needle-turn applique tips and instructions for raw-edge machine applique.  Requirements

• 9” x 9” background fabric
• Scraps of different coloured fabric for flower
• Water soluble pen or similar
• Matching thread for appliqué. I recommend Aurifil 80wt cotton
• Embroidery threads in a range of colours to coordinate or contrast with your fabric. I recommend Aurifil 12wt wool
• Suitable needles for both weights of thread
  
• Clover Appliqué Pins (optional)
