This 32 page PDF pattern contains templates and instructions to make five 8" block (motif size 6" to 7½"). The pattern includes full embroidery stitch guide, extensive needle-turn applique tips and instructions for raw-edge machine applique. 9” x 9” background fabric
Scraps of different coloured fabric for bird
Water soluble pen or similar
Matching thread for appliqué. I recommend Aurifil 80wt cotton
Embroidery threads in a range of colours to coordinate or contrast with your fabric. I recommend Aurifil 12wt wool
Suitable needles for both weights of thread
