These 3 PDFs include a total of 66 pages and contain templates and instructions to make ten 8" block (motif size 4½" to 5½") plus a front and back cover and full instructions to make a fabric book. The pattern includes full embroidery stitch guide, extensive needle-turn applique tips and instructions for raw-edge machine applique. Dream Bird patterns can also be purchased singly or as part of a range of bundles.

Water soluble pen or similar
Matching thread for appliqué. I recommend Aurifil 80wt cotton
Embroidery threads in a range of colours to coordinate or contrast with your fabric. I recommend Aurifil 12wt wool
Small buttons
Suitable needles for both weights of thread
Clover Appliqué Pins (optional)

10 fabric pages created using the Dream Birds patterns OR any fabric ‘pages’ you’d like to use
Background fabric for both front and back covers measuring 8” x 8”
Fabric for the front cover measuring 8” x 8”
Scraps of different coloured fabric for the back cover flower
2 fabric strips for the spine measuring 1” x 7½”
Water soluble pen or similar
