Crested Tit Appliqué PDF Pattern

The adorable crested tit is the quintessential Scottish bird and lives amongst ancient Caledonian pine forests. I’ve depicted him perched on a thistle for an extra Scottish flavour. This gives me a chance to share one of my favourite crewel embroidery stitches ‘laid work’. Create your own little crested tit using needle-turn applique and some simple embroidery.
